CT CosMedic is a comprehensive liposculpture, laser and cosmetic treatment center in southeastern Connecticut. Dr. Lane also recently received special training in performing the minimally-invasive, minimal down-time Serdev suture suspension lift technique for brow and face lifts – a better technique than popular “thread”, “curl”, “contour”, “feather”, and “coffee break” lifts.
We have the most technologically advanced equipment and treat you in a relaxed, modern spa-like setting. We pamper you, and we strive to make your treatments as painless and comfortable as possible. We take pride in our results and in our referral and return business. All of our treatments are performed under the direction of Dr. Lane, and the doctor himself performs most of these. Jeffrey H. Lane, M.D is our Medical Director and Physician. He performs all of the liposculpture, Botox® and filler treatments, and most of the laser procedures himself. Dr. Lane provides free initial consultations for all patients. He is a board-certified physician and surgeon, and has been in private practice in Connecticut for 25 years. Dr. Lane is a graduate of the University of Rochester, Albany Medical College, and the George Washington University. He has over 20 years experience with medical lasers, as well as extensive surgical experience.
Dr. Lane has had a long-standing interest in cosmetic and laser cosmetic treatments, and has followed the latest developments in this field for many years. He has had extensive additional ongoing training and certification in cosmetic laser treatments, facial fillers, Botox®, and the new SmartLipo™ and Vaser® treatments.
Kathy A. Hazen is our Administrator, Patient Coordinator, beauty peel and cosmeceutical expert. She answers the phone, makes client appointments, provides information and consultations, assists with treatments, and performs all of our Beauty peels under Dr. Lane's supervision. She also handles our advertising and outreach programs.
Kathy received her B.S. from S.U.N.Y. at Brockport, and was medical office manager for a large practice in Washington, D.C. prior to coming to Connecticut. She has been office manager for Dr. Lane's practice. She owned and operated Tennis Trends, a retail tennis business for 8 years.
She has extensive experience in the areas of customer relations, marketing, medical assisting, and has received extensive training in chemical and beauty peels, cosmeceuticals and as a laser technician.
